Bayreuth Festival Opens with “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” Amidst Critical Debate

Simultaneously occurring,the Salzburg Festival experienced a disruption during its opening ceremony. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators interrupted the speech by festival director Andreas Babler.
