Battlefield 6 Challenges Receive first Major Update
Stockholm, Sweden - November 22, 2023 - EA has implemented its first round of adjustments to the challenge system in Battlefield 6, addressing player concerns that unlocking new equipment was overly demanding. The changes, announced via social media by the development team, significantly lower requirements across numerous challenges.
The update aims to streamline progression and better reward skillful gameplay. According to the team, challenges will continue to range in difficulty, from those completed through standard play to those requiring a higher level of mastery, particularly for cosmetic rewards. Some original challenge criteria were adjusted to better reflect this intended difficulty curve.
Tweaks apply to challenges tied to classes, weapons, game modes, and general gameplay, with most now achievable within one or two matches. Players who have already met the revised requirements for previously incomplete challenges will need to complete one additional round for the game to register their completion.
