ALPCM Women’s Basketball Team Demonstrates resilience in Early 2025-2026 Season
nantes,France – The ALPCM women’s basketball team is displaying strong momentum despite a roster overhaul and a move to a new division,recently securing a key home victory against Escaudain. Head coach Johann Bauné has successfully integrated numerous new players, fostering a dynamic team capable of meeting the challenges of the 2025-2026 season.
The team’s ability to remain composed during the close contest with Escaudain-a team praised for its strong game animation and zone defense-highlights their adaptability and growing confidence. While acknowledging ongoing work to refine team connections, bauné expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress, stating, “I am really happy with our latest success at home because for me it is much more of a reference in the standards to be had than the first and very large victory against the Espoirs de Villeneuve.”
Currently second in Pool B, trailing only the favored Sceaux team-whom they narrowly defeated at home 73-68-ALPCM anticipates the return of key player Emma Ouattara, who has been sidelined with a wrist injury since the season’s start. The Nantes-based team, known for its commitment to women’s basketball, aims to continue its upward trajectory with the same determination.
