Barcelona Maintain Perfect Start with 3-0 Win Over Getafe
Barcelona leads the La Liga standings with 24 points from eight matches after securing a 3-0 victory against Getafe at Spotify Camp Nou. Hansi Flick’s squad maintains a 100 percent winning record heading into the mid-October fixture block.
Barcelona Extends Perfect Run Over Getafe
The Catalan club opened the scoring early on Saturday, October 10, 2026, when Anthony Gordon netted in the second minute. Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead in the 30th minute with a hard strike past Getafe goalkeeper David Soria, according to Antara. Jules Kounde sealed the 3-0 result in the 73rd minute by converting a cross from Lamine Yamal. The win matches Barcelona’s best start in club history, mirroring the 2013-2014 campaign under Tata Martino, as noted by Mundo Deportivo.
The victory arrives as Flick adjusts his roster, having played the fixture without Raphinha. Kompas reported that the Brazilian forward sustained a hamstring strain while on international duty with Brazil, keeping him sidelined for both the Getafe fixture and an upcoming Champions League match against Galatasaray. Absennya Raphinha membuka kesempatan bagi Gabriel Jesus untuk tampil sebagai starter. Flick also noted that Frenkie de Jong still is not ready to return to play, while praising the intensity and attitude of the Barcelona players during training sessions ahead of the Getafe match. Flick stated Kami harus fokus pada tantangan berikutnya, yaitu Getafe.
