Barbour and Aardman Partner Again for New Wallace & Gromit Christmas Film and Collection
Like Wallace and Gromit, we can’t help getting totally wrapped up in Christmas, and we’re so excited to present the duo again, this time wrapped up in Barbour for their winter walkies,
said creator Nick Park as Aardman and the heritage clothing brand released their latest holiday campaign on November 5, 2026. The stop-motion short film, titled Warm Wishes, brings the iconic claymation pair back to screens for a second holiday season following their debut collaboration in late 2025.
Wallace Tests Wheelchair Creation in Snow
Directed by Aardman’s Creative Director of Short Form & Commercials Steve Harding-Hill, the new short features a Christmas Day stroll that quickly goes off the rails. Fictionhorizon reported that the narrative opens at home with Gromit tending to decorations before Wallace gifts him a Sylkoil wax dog coat. Wallace then heads out to test his latest creation, the Walk-o-matic—a living room chair fitted with oversized wheels made from Nimbus Chelsea Welly Boots. As Harding-Hill explained in announcements published by Aardman, the contraption malfunctions in the snow and sends Wallace tumbling into a drift, leaving Gromit to save the outing with the help of Barbour apparel.

Gromit ultimately rescues the inventor and presents a Cotton Half Knit Zipped Jumper, which Wallace promptly puts on. According to Fictionhorizon, the festive short also features a surprise cameo appearance by Shaun the Sheep and his flock, cementing the commercial crossover between Aardman’s major properties. Tartan accessories feature prominently throughout the animation, weaving the brand’s traditional Scottish patterns directly into the storyline.
Barbour Plans Limited Edition Collection Release
The campaign is paired with a limited-edition capsule collection slated for release in December 2026 on Barbour’s official website and through selected retail stores. The collection includes knitted scarves, hats, caps, tote bags, key fobs, and the Gromit-approved dog coat.

We’re delighted to be continuing our creative partnership with Aardman,
said Jamie McCall, Global Marketing Director at Barbour, highlighting the shared British heritage and focus on craftsmanship between the two entities. Harding-Hill echoed the sentiment, noting that bringing the characters back for another festive romp was an absolute joy for the Bristol-based studio.
