A planned outdoor showing of the blockbuster film Barbie was abruptly canceled in Noisy-le-Sec, a suburb of Paris, following threats from individuals who allege the movie promotes homosexuality.the incident has ignited a national conversation about freedom of expression and rising intolerance.
