San Juan, Puerto Rico – Bad Bunny brought his groundbreaking 30-day residency, “I Don’t Want to Leave Here,” to a close Saturday night with a surprise performance alongside Marc Anthony, capping off a run that drew over 250,000 attendees and solidified Puerto Rico’s position as a premier entertainment destination. The final show also served as a commemoration of the eighth anniversary of Hurricane Maria and the launch of a new initiative with Amazon Music focused on bolstering the island’s economy and providing disaster relief.

the residency, held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, featured a rotating cast of guest artists including Belinda, Resident, Feid, Rauw Alejandro, and Ozuna, alongside Puerto Rican talents like Rainao, Dei V, Ñengo Flow, Archangel, De la Ghetto, and Jowell & Randy. Bad Bunny revisited his collaboration with Chuwi, performing “Weltita” – a song thay presented nightly throughout the residency. The performance with Marc Anthony featured “Beautiful,” originally composed by Rafael Hernández Marín in 1937 and later recorded by Anthony for his 1999 album From the Beginning: From the Beginning.

In an emotional address to the audience, bad Bunny expressed his unwavering dedication to his roots and his fans. “I have always been the same, with the same heart, with the same passion, with the same love for what I do and I promise you that I will never change. I love you, Puerto Rico. I love you mommy, daddy,” he stated, adding, “it doesn’t matter what the situation, no matter what your problem, all options, love will always be the best.”

Beyond the entertainment value, the residency generated critically important economic impact for local businesses and spurred a collaborative effort between Bad Bunny and Amazon Music. The “Several Initiative” will focus on education, disaster relief, and cultural empowerment, aiming to create lasting positive change on the island.

The final performance was livestreamed globally via the amazon music app, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and Prime Video. The 30-day run underscores Bad Bunny’s commitment to his homeland and his growing influence as a cultural force.
