Nogent-sur-Marne, France – The Marne River was abuzz with excitement on Saturday, June 14, as the Nautical Club of Nogent (CNN) hosted its annual “1 guy, 1 girl”
rowing race, a unique event emphasizing mixed doubles competition. This year’s edition, especially vibrant, drew participation from over ten clubs across the Île-de-France region.

A Competitive Field of Mixed Doubles Crews

Sixty-four crews in mixed double configurations tackled a demanding 6,000-meter course.The route stretched between the island of the wolves, home to the Nogentais club, and the Bry bridge, before looping back via the island of Nogent. The event showcased the skill and endurance of rowers from various clubs, including Encou (Nogent), SNP (Le Perreux), Amj (Joinville), Us Métro (Joinville), Lagny, Boulogne, Saint-Ouen, Sèvres, and Courbevoie.
