Avengers Doomsday: Deadpool and Wolverine’s Universe Faces Multiverse Incursion Threat
Approximately 3,000 fictional realities have vanished in Marvel’s multiverse due to incursions, setting up an existential threat for the X-Men and the universe of Deadpool and Wolverine ahead of the December 18, 2026 release of Avengers: Doomsday.
While Thanos once needed six Infinity Stones to put half the universe in jeopardy, the upcoming conflict involves entire realities clashing in a fight for survival that dwarfs standard extraterrestrial invasions.
La amenaza de las incursiones y la Tierra-10005
The re-release of Avengers: Endgame, featuring additional scenes connecting to the upcoming film directed by the Russo brothers, was released in US cinemas on September 25, 2026. One of these additional sequences shows members of the Time Variance Authority (AVT)—specifically Mobius, Ouroboros, and Casey—observing that Earth-10005 is suffering an incursion against Earth-1127, a reality whose identity remains a mystery.
Both universes attempt to survive at any cost within the sequence, even launching missiles at each other to destroy the opposing world before the final collision occurs.
This development directly threatens the universe where the Fox mutant adventures take place. In Deadpool and Wolverine, Earth-10005 was previously doomed to vanish following the death of the original Logan, which triggered the deterioration of the reality because he was an anchor being.
Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds, teamed up with a variant of Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman to stop Cassandra Nova and the Time Ripper. Although agent B-15 confirmed at the end of the adventure that their universe was regenerating, the new incursion introduces a fundamentally different danger that does not depend on an anchor being, but rather on a direct universe-to-universe collision.
