Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Update Adds New Features, Including Third-Person Mode

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the 2023 first-person shooter set on Pandora, is receiving a notable update. Developer Massive Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft announced the new content will coincide with the game’s third anniversary on December 5 and the release of the third Avatar film, “Fire and Ash,” on December 19. The update introduces an optional third-person perspective mode and a New Game+ mode.

massive Entertainment has stated that animations, controls, audio, and camera systems have been reworked too ensure a seamless and intuitive experience in the third-person perspective. Players will retain their inventory and skills when starting a new playthrough in New Game+. The update also promises more powerful gear to combat tougher enemies and a new skill tree.

Previous updates for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have included a 40fps mode for consoles, the story packs “The Sky Breaker” and “Secrets of the Spires,” and a revamped Hunter’s Guide.
