A new bilingual coloring book, “Girls Are Unstoppable: Bilingual Girls Coloring Book of Various Occupations,” is empowering young readers. Author Gabriela Ibarra Noriega aims to dismantle limiting beliefs and champion boundless aspirations for girls everywhere.
A Tribute to Resilience
Noriega, who grew up between Monterrey, Nuevo León, and San Antonio’s West Side, drew inspiration from the formidable women in her life. After losing her father at a young age, she witnessed firsthand the strength and determination of her mother and grandmother.
These women, facing adversity with grit, became her role models. Noriega’s own upbringing instilled in her a deep understanding of the importance of female empowerment.
