Austin Police Arrest Two Suspects in Vehicle Burglary and Financial Crimes Investigation
AUSTIN, TX – November 7, 2025 – The Austin Police Department (APD) north Metro Tactical Unit has arrested two individuals in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries and associated financial crimes spanning several months. Armynie White, 22, and Tyrique Young, 24, were taken into custody on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in separate incidents.
The arrests stem from investigations into burglaries targeting vehicles, particularly at locations like the bull Creek Trailhead and Mount bonnell. Officers identified White and Young as suspects after receiving numerous tips, including those submitted through Crime Stoppers.
Tyrique Young was apprehended following the discovery of an outstanding warrant for Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse related to a vehicle burglary on October 8, 2025, at the Bull Creek Trailhead. During his arrest, officers recovered property stolen from a November 2, 2025, burglary at Mount Bonnell. Additional charges are pending in his case (APD Case #25-9026403).
Armynie white was located during a traffic stop in the Mueller area. she allegedly provided false identifying details to officers and was arrested for Failure to Identify as a Fugitive, along with 17 outstanding warrants. These warrants include six charges of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse issued by multiple law enforcement agencies.
Both suspects face multiple charges, including:
* One charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon
* Two charges of Failure to Identify as a Fugitive
* Two charges of Fraud Use or Possession of Personal Identifying Information
* One charge of Burglary of a Vehicle
* One charge of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and one charge of Escape While Arrested
* One charge of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and one charge of Burglary of a Vehicle
* One charge of Failure to Appear – Burglary
Authorities indicate that additional charges are pending as the investigation continues (APD case #25-3100834).
