Augusta Jaguars Women’s Golf Prepares for Greenville Tournament

Augusta University WomenS Golf Prepares for Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The ⁢Augusta University women’s golf team is set to compete in the Lady Paladin Invitational, beginning Friday, September 20, 2025, at the Furman University⁤ Golf Course.The three-day tournament will feature 18 holes of play each day, with shotgun starts at 10:00 a.m. on Friday ‍and saturday, and a 9:00 ​a.m. shotgun⁤ start on Sunday.

This tournament‍ marks an early-season test for⁢ the ⁤Jaguars, providing an‍ opportunity to gauge their performance against ‍a competitive field ​and ‌refine their strategies. Head Coach Caroline Holloway ‍is especially encouraged by the immediate impact of freshman Lauren Valera, who recently finished 15th at a tournament in Statesboro, Georgia.

“She’s just⁣ vrey consistent and has ⁤a good sense for the game,” Holloway‍ said of Valera. “She’s​ one of those that can take ⁣it ‌low and⁤ is not scared to take it low which⁢ is very cool to⁢ see⁣ and she’s just been a huge ⁢impact right away.”
