Viking (NYSE: VIK) has been recognized as the top river and ocean cruise line by readers of Condé Nast Traveler for the fifth consecutive year in the 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, the company announced today.

The awards, published by Condé Nast Traveler, acknowledge Viking’s performance across its fleet of more than 100 ships, which explore 21 rivers, five oceans and all seven continents. Viking’s Chairman and CEO, Torstein Hagen, has positioned the company as catering to “The Thinking Person™,” emphasizing experiences focused on science, history, culture and cuisine.

This latest recognition from Condé Nast Traveler builds on previous accolades, including being named a “World’s Best” cruise line by Travel + Leisure. Viking is the only travel company to simultaneously hold top rankings from both publications.

Alongside the announcement of the awards, Viking is currently recruiting for an Associate Recruiting Marketing Manager position based in Switzerland. The role will support the Recruiting Marketing Team in building the company’s employer brand and managing recruitment initiatives. Responsibilities include social media management, paid media campaign assistance, event support, content creation, data analysis, inventory management, and administrative tasks. Applicants must be eligible to work in Switzerland or possess a valid work permit.

The position requires fluency in English, strong organizational and administrative skills, and proficiency in social media tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Experience in content management, particularly within the cruise or travel industry, is considered an advantage. Candidates should hold a completed higher education degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, Tourism, Hospitality, or Human Resources.
