Breaking News: Sky Sports has announced a price reduction on its Essential TV and Sky Sports package, offering a significant saving for football fans ahead of the 2024/25 season. The deal, currently priced at £35 (originally £43), provides access to over 1,400 live matches.
Sky Sports Premier League and EFL Discount
Sky’s discounted package combines the Essential TV package with complete Sky Sports access. This offer represents a £192 saving for subscribers and includes coverage of the Premier League, EFL Championship, League One, and League Two. The promotion is available to new and existing Sky customers, subject to a minimum 18-month contract.
For the 2024/25 season, Sky Sports will broadcast a minimum of 215 live Premier League matches, a considerable increase from previous seasons. This expanded coverage includes exclusive matches and key fixtures from all 20 Premier League clubs. The increased number of games is a result of recent broadcasting rights agreements finalized in December 2023, securing Sky sports as a primary broadcaster for top-tier English football.
Beyond the Premier League, the package provides extensive coverage of the EFL, including all 92 league matches, plus Carabao Cup and Papa Johns Trophy games. Sky sports’ coverage also extends to other football competitions,such as the Scottish Premiership and select European leagues. Subscribers can access matches via Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Football, and the Sky Sports app, allowing for viewing on multiple devices.
