Arkansas Powerball Winner Claims $1.8B Jackpot

A winning‌ lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Cabot, ⁤Arkansas, for the December 24th drawing. The lucky Quick Pick ticket was ⁣purchased at Murphy USA 7879, located at 208 S. ​Rockwood.

According to the Arkansas Lottery, the ticket matched five numbers but not the Powerball. While ​the winner’s identity hasn’t been publicly released, they have 180 days from⁣ the drawing date to claim thier prize.​ The Arkansas Lottery encourages the winner to sign the back of the ticket adn contact lottery officials.

“We’re thrilled that a $1 million winning ticket was sold in Cabot,” said Bishop Washburn, Director of ⁢the Arkansas Lottery, ​in a report by Arkansas Online. “We always enjoy celebrating with​ our players and look forward to welcoming the winner ​to Little Rock to claim their prize.”

The winning numbers for the December 24th Powerball drawing were: 12, 26, 33, 44, 66, and the Powerball was 11. ⁤The Powerball jackpot for that⁣ drawing was $700 million.
