Apple Raises Prices Across New iPhone 18 and Previous Models
Apple has raised prices across its entire iPhone lineup in the Czech Republic, with customers facing up to 8,000 CZK in additional costs for new models and past generations alike, according to reports from Novinky.cz and Vsesmart.cz.
Price Increases on iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Models
The newly unveiled iPhone 18 Pro carries a starting price of 34,990 CZK for the 256 GB version, marking a 2,000 CZK increase compared to the predecessor generation, according to Vsesmart.cz. The larger iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at 37,990 CZK for the 256 GB configuration, which is 3,000 CZK higher than last year’s equivalent entry point. Higher storage tiers see even steeper adjustments. According to Vsesmart.cz price tracking data, the 1TB version of the iPhone 18 Pro costs 52,990 CZK—an 8,000 CZK jump over the comparable previous model—while the 1TB iPhone 18 Pro Max reaches 55,990 CZK, representing a 9,000 CZK year-over-year increase.
Higher Costs for Retained Previous-Generation Devices
In an unusual pricing move documented by Novinky.cz and Vsesmart.cz, Apple also increased retail prices for older models still active in its official lineup. The base iPhone 17, which retailed for 22,990 CZK upon its release, now costs 25,990 CZK through official channels. Similarly, the iPhone 17e with 256 GB of storage has moved from an introductory price of 16,990 CZK up to 19,990 CZK. Vsesmart.cz notes that third-party retailers retain previous pricing structures only until current inventories are fully exhausted.

Introduction of the iPhone Duo
Alongside standard lineup adjustments, Apple officially entered the foldable smartphone market with the introduction of the iPhone Duo, reported Vsesmart.cz. The device starts at 54,990 CZK for the 256 GB variant and scales up to 90,990 CZK for the 2 TB configuration, making it the most expensive mobile device in the company’s hardware portfolio.
Initial market reactions to the hardware release remain mixed. MobilMania.cz reported that pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro saw only minimal shifts in domestic availability, while early product reviews highlighted by Mobilizujeme.cz praised the device’s processing performance while noting that its primary hardware features have divided initial opinion. Meanwhile, Apple has scheduled a series of global promotional photography exhibitions for the iPhone 18 Pro across three international metropolitan centers, according to Letem světem Applem.
