Remembering a Life
On Tuesday, June 10th, Angela Buckley (née Robb) of 19 Westfield, Newtowncunningham, passed away. She is deeply mourned by many who knew her.
Among those who feel her loss are her sister-in-law, Chrissie Robb, along with her nieces and nephews from Drumbuoy and Newtowncunningham. She is also survived by her step-son, three step-daughters, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Her extended family and friends spanned across Donegal, Dublin, Derry, Scotland, Spain, and Finland.
Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Seán (2014), her parents William and Elizabeth, and her five brothers and four sisters.
Service Details
Angela’s remains will be at Drumbuoy Farm, Newtowncunningham, F93D850, starting at 1 pm and continuing until 9 pm on Thursday, June 12th. A Rosary will be held at 8 pm.
The funeral service will commence from Drumbuoy Farm on Friday, June 13th, at 10:15 am. It will proceed to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham, for an 11 am Requiem Mass. This service will be available to view live via www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham. Following the Mass, a private cremation will be held at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
The family requests privacy on the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Irish Cancer Society, with any family member accepting contributions.
