Andreina Bravo and YoSoyArango prepare HEAT debut in Mexico
Ecuadorian singer Andreina Bravo and Colombian artist YoSoyArango are preparing their debut joint performance of their tropical urban collaboration “La Propuesta” at the HEAT Latin Music Awards, which take place from October 31 to November 5, 2026, in Jalisco, with the main gala scheduled for November 5 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones de Puerto Vallarta, Infobae reported.
The duo arrives in Mexico following a week of promotional activities across Los Cabos, Guadalajara, and Puerto Vallarta. The upcoming ceremony marks the first time the awards event is held in Mexico. Bravo enters the event with two nominations, competing for best Andean region artist and best fandom of the year. YoSoyArango secured his first nomination in the musical promise category.
Coordination and Rehearsals for the Stage Debut
Speaking with Infobae, YoSoyArango stated that the performance will feature coordinated outfits. The artists decided to match their stage wardrobe for their first live rendition of the track. The song itself bridges tropical and urban elements, originating from a creative process split between Punta Cana and Medellín after the two musicians met three years ago during a contest called La Nueva Cepa.
Both performers acknowledged the pressure of entering the Mexican market. Bravo noted that she has received numerous comments regarding the scale of the audience and industry in the country. YoSoyArango described his reception in Mexico as exceptional during an agenda dominated by press interviews and promotional events.
Origins of the Collaboration and Video Production
The partnership solidified after YoSoyArango signed with Hi Reggaeton Records, a label operated by Diana Montes and Master Kris. Following initial discussions, the artists traveled to Punta Cana to record the track and generate digital content. A second production phase took place in Medellín, where they filmed the official music video for “La Propuesta” inside an ecological park recognized as a cultural heritage site.
During the video shoot, unexpected rain threatened to damage wardrobe elements and makeup, prompting the production crew to adjust the schedule and modify specific camera angles. Both artists contributed notes to the script, shaping a narrative about two friends experiencing mutual attraction without expressing it.
Beyond their own performance, Bravo expressed interest in attending the show by Kenia Os and reuniting with Karime Pindter. YoSoyArango mentioned a desire to connect with members of Grupo Firme during the multi-day event in Jalisco.
