Amira Aly has baby girl and Oliver Pocher reacts to the news
Amira Aly (34) and her partner Christian Düren (36) welcomed a baby girl over the weekend, with the birth made public on Tuesday via an Instagram post featuring a hospital bracelet and a footprint captioned Wunder Nummer drei
according to Blick. The arrival marks the first child for Aly and Düren together, while Aly shares two sons aged five and six with her ex-husband Oliver Pocher (48). Aly and the entertainer met in 2016, married in 2019, announced their separation in August 2023, and officially divorced in the summer of 2024, with Aly and Düren becoming a couple in December 2023.
Pocher Addresses New Arrival During Munich Podcast
Pocher was already informed before the public announcement and addressed the new arrival on Sunday during a live podcast recording in Munich alongside Sandy Meyer-Wölden (43).
Pocher also shared that Aly called him from the hospital right before her scheduled Caesarean section because their two sons were with him at the time. The boys distracted their mother by discussing a mobile game and a football stadium visit, which brought laughter to Aly. Pocher offered support to his ex-wife, stating, Ich unterstütze sie natürlich jetzt
and Ich bin für die Kinder da, sag mir, wenn irgendwas ist.
Furthermore, Pocher did not rule out a potential role as a godfather. Speaking further on stage, he recalled, Dieser erste Schrei von dem Kind, das geht dir so ins Mark und das bleibt so hängen,
looking back as a father of five. When asked by an audience member if he would visit the hospital, he noted that the timing was not right yet, but stated, Wir werden uns sicherlich die Woche sehen.
Meyer-Wölden, who shares 15-year-old twin sons and a 16-year-old daughter with Pocher, offered the words Glückwunsch an dieser Stelle an die frisch gebackene Mami
and noted from her own experience that life in a patchwork family can settle down over time.
Public Figures Congratulate Aly and Düren
Numerous public figures flooded the Instagram post with congratulations, including Frauke Ludowig, Pietro Lombardi, Sarah Engels, Lilly Becker, Tanja Makaric, Renata Lusin, Ina Aogo, Christina Hänni, and Isi Glück. Alys brother Hima also posted a personal greeting, writing, Ein Wunder mehr in unserer Familie.
Meyer-Wölden offered her congratulations to the new mother during the podcast as well. Despite the public announcements and widespread wishes, Aly and Düren have chosen not to reveal the baby girl’s name publicly, maintaining the privacy approach they previously used with their sons.
