AMD Downplays AI Hype, Prioritizes the ‘Perfect PC’ at IFA Berlin
Berlin, Germany – AMD executives at IFA Berlin asserted that current excitement surrounding artificial intelligence is “underhyped,” emphasizing the company’s continued focus on delivering a superior PC experience as its primary goal. Despite acknowledging the growing importance of AI,AMD maintains it is committed to providing chips to partners – even competitors like Nvidia, whose GeForce Now infrastructure utilizes AMD’s Threadripper CPUs.

AMD declined to comment on the JPR figures, instead referencing data from Mercury research, and stating radeon demand remains strong despite production catching up after RDNA 4.
