“All Quiet on the Western Front” wins seven BAFTAs, including Best Picture

Charlotte Wells was awarded the BAFTA best debut as a writer-director for the coming-of-age movie “Aftersun”. The BAFTA for best animated film went to “Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio” by renowned Mexican director Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson.

Costume designer Sandy Powell got the BAFTA Fellowship for her entire career. Powell designed the costumes for several well-known films, including “Shakespeare in Love”, “The Aviator”, “The Young Victoria” and “Gangs of New York”. She has worked with top directors such as Martin Scorsese and Kenneth Branagh.
