AI in Immuno-Oncology Conference 2026 – Marseille | ICI

Marseille, France – The Institut Cancer et Immunologie (ICI) has announced its 7th annual scientific conference, scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Institut Paoli-Calmettes in Marseille. The conference will focus on “Artificial Intelligence in Immuno-Oncology,” bringing together researchers and experts in the fields of cancer research and immunology.

The event, to be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Amphitheater IPC2, aims to foster collaboration between research teams, hospitals, and industry partners working in oncology and immunology, according to the ICI. The institute, established to build a local and international community of scientists, is actively promoting interdisciplinary actions linking health, life sciences, advanced technologies, and the humanities.

The conference follows the launch of the French National Cancer Institute’s (INCa) “Filière Intelligence Artificielle et Cancers” (FIAC) initiative, a public-private partnership designed to accelerate innovation in cancer treatment through the application of artificial intelligence. The FIAC initiative has a budget of 17 million euros over five years, supporting research and development efforts.

The ICI’s annual conference is part of a broader effort to strengthen partnerships with institutions such as the Paoli-Calmettes Institute, the AP-HM (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Marseille), Cancéropôle PACA, Eurobiomed, and Kedge Business School. The institute also participates in the CIVIS Alliance, a European university network, offering opportunities for student and researcher exchange programs.

Registration for the conference is now open, with a link available at https://lnkd.in/e4vNv6PS. The final program for the event will be released shortly, according to the ICI.
