This innovation promises to combat record fraud, streamline the movement of students and professionals across borders, and empower individuals with greater control over their personal data. Analysts predict that the convergence of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) will considerably disrupt sectors such as education, healthcare, and content creation.
The integration of blockchain-based credentials with AI-powered educational content offers a pathway to borderless verifiability and more affordable learning opportunities for students worldwide.In a notable growth earlier this year, Open Campus, a decentralized autonomous association (DAO) focused on educational applications, launched its layer-3 blockchain, EDU Chain. This new blockchain is designed to securely store student credentials and certificates, ensuring they are tamper-proof, immutable, and easily verifiable.
Further underscoring the growing synergy between technology and education, Binance co-founder Changpeng zhao (CZ) announced his ambition to educate one billion children through Giggle Academy, a free online educational platform.
