AI Agent Directories: The Latest Trends & Resources

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

A novel directory, AI Agents, launched this year to catalog and evaluate the rapidly expanding field of artificial intelligence agents, according to Trend Hunter.

The platform, described as a centralized resource, organizes AI agents by task and category, aiming to assist users in identifying tools suitable for a range of applications including writing, research, and sales. Trend Hunter, which bills itself as the “#1 largest consumer trend platform” utilizing data from over 300 million people, is behind the directory.

The emergence of AI Agents coincides with a broader shift, as noted by Forbes, where AI agents are transitioning from experimental tools to mainstream solutions capable of handling complex work and strategic decision-making. This evolution is occurring as businesses increasingly seek to integrate AI into core operations.

Google Cloud recently conducted research involving over 3,466 global executives and AI experts to identify key trends in AI agent adoption for 2026. The resulting report highlights five major trends businesses should consider when formulating their strategies. The research indicates a growing focus on how companies are actively deploying AI agents.

Trend Hunter’s AI platform leverages both human researchers and artificial intelligence to deliver data-driven insights, offering services such as AI keynotes, workshops, and conferences. The company’s data indicates a significant increase in consumer interest and innovation surrounding AI agents.

The Google Cloud report is available for download, requiring a first name, last name, business email, calling code, business phone number, job title, company name, and country. Finland is listed as one of the selectable countries.
