České Budějovice, Czech Republic – Teh 51st annual Agrosalon, a leading agricultural exhibition, concluded today with a record-breaking 132,504 visitors, surpassing the previous high of 129,396 recorded last year. the event highlighted the increasing integration of technology, including robotics and artificial intelligence, into modern farming practices.
Record Attendance Signals Strong Interest in Agricultural Innovation
The Agrosalon, held in České Budějovice, has long been a cornerstone event for the Czech agricultural sector. This year’s attendance figures, provided by the exhibition center, represent the highest number of visitors in the last 22 years, demonstrating a growing public and industry interest in the future of food production.
Mojmír Severin, a key organizer of the event, expressed his satisfaction with the turnout. Of course we were very pleased with traffic and it is indeed undoubtedly a great success. But what is essential to us is the satisfaction of our exhibitors. and we evaluate it very positively on the basis of the feedback, which we collected throughout the Agrosalon,
he stated.
Delayed Harvest, But Quality Remains High
The exhibition also served as a platform to assess this year’s harvest.Martin Volf, Chairman of the Commodity Council for cereals and oilseeds of the Agrarian Chamber, noted that the harvest season was the slowest in the past 15 years, largely due to unusually heavy rainfall in July. This initially raised concerns about the quality of the crops.
However, Volf reassured attendees that these fears were largely unfounded. fortunately, it has not been confirmed and the quality is good. And it did not happen what we feared that the cereals would fall from food to feed because of worse quality,
he explained. The good quality of the harvest is a positive sign for food security and the agricultural economy.

A defining feature of this year’s Agrosalon was the prominent display of cutting-edge agricultural technology. Visitors were captivated by the roboton Farmer, an autonomous agricultural robot, demonstrating the potential for automation in farming. The European premiere of an autonomous, solar-powered chicken coop also drew notable attention. This innovative coop automatically adjusts to provide optimal conditions for poultry, ensuring fresh food and a comfortable climate.
Beyond robotics, the exhibition showcased practical innovations like a vending machine for fresh potatoes, patented by the Czech company Agrodot, offering a convenient and direct-to-consumer solution.
