Agen BC Dominates Aytré 92-60 in Pré-Nationale Basketball
On Saturday, October 10, the Agen Basket Club secured a 92-60 victory against the Aytré Basket Club during the fourth round of the Pré-Nationale masculine poule A championship.
Agen Uses Physical Advantage to Lead Early
Playing at home, the Lot-et-Garonne team faced an unfamiliar opponent from the Charente-Maritime department that entered the match sitting second from the bottom of the standings without a single win. The visitors resisted for just one opening quarter before the physical advantage of the home side took over.
The game began with mutual missed shots before Agen captain Abassi stole a ball and scored the first basket while drawing a foul. Aytré capitalized on early Agen shooting struggles with three consecutive shots, but coaching adjustments by Benoît Derusseau brought Ndosimao into the paint to help close the first period ahead 23-17.
Technical errors marked a slow start to the second quarter for Agen, generating only two points in four minutes. Boucaud then broke the drought with long-range shooting, stretching the lead to 13 points midway through the period. By halftime, the local advantage expanded to 25 points at 46-21.

Agen Wins 92-60 After Dominating Second Half
The visiting team struggled to generate offense in the second half against Agen’s physical rotations and fast-break opportunities. While the closing minutes featured a disjointed pace and multiple turnovers from both sides, the outcome was already decided.
The final score stood at 92-60 in favor of Agen, with quarter scores progressing at 23-17, 46-21, and 66-35. Referees MM. Kurzydlo and Lanchon-Dumontier officiated the fixture.
