AEW Revolution 2025: Card, Stipulations & Title Matches Confirmed

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

Hangman Page has challenged AEW World Champion MJF to a Texas Death Match at Revolution, adding a significant stipulation to their upcoming title bout. The development unfolded on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, where Page dramatically raised the stakes in their rivalry.

Page proposed the stipulation, stating that if he loses to MJF, he will retire from challenging for the AEW World Championship. Initially hesitant, MJF agreed to consider the stipulation, requesting a week to decide. Page subsequently confirmed his preference for a Texas Death Match, a move that appeared to unnerve the champion.

This will be the fourth singles match between Page and MJF, with Page currently holding a 2-1 advantage in their series. The added stipulation comes as MJF recently expressed a belief that the “problem children” of AEW are no longer a factor within the promotion, according to Sports Illustrated.

Also on Dynamite, the AEW World Tag Team Championship match for Revolution was finalized. FTR, the current champions Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, will defend their titles against The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). The match was set after The Young Bucks attacked FTR and Stokely Hathaway following a promo segment, demanding another title opportunity after winning a three-way eliminator match the previous week.

FTR are currently in their third reign as tag team champions, having initially won the belts at Full Gear. The Young Bucks are seeking their fourth reign, and their first since April 2024.

The Continental Championship will also be defended at Revolution, with Jon Moxley facing Konosuke Takeshita in a match with no time limit. Moxley called for the rematch following a prior draw at Grand Slam Australia and a pinfall victory for Takeshita during the Continental Classic tournament. This will be Moxley’s first defense of the title since winning the Continental Classic, although Takeshita aims for his first AEW singles championship since his International title reign ended in March 2025.

As of today, the confirmed card for AEW Revolution on March 15th includes: AEW World Champion MJF versus Hangman Page (Texas Death Match stipulation pending final confirmation). AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR defending against The Young Bucks; and AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley defending against Konosuke Takeshita with no time limit.
