ADWEEK launches inaugural 2026 Creator Economy Power List
ADWEEK launched its inaugural 2026 Creator Economy Power List, opening the entry window to honor the executives, dealmakers, and technologists building the commercial infrastructure behind the creator boom, adweek.com reported. While on-camera talent typically captures public attention, the newly established index targets the platform builders, brand leaders, and agency heads turning independent content creation into a durable corporate ecosystem.
Who Qualifies for the 2026 Creator Economy Power List
Entrants must operate within a business enterprise directly tied to the creator economy. Individual influencers and on-camera creators are ineligible for direct submission unless applying through a formal business role, such as serving as the founder or executive of a corporate entity. Creators seeking recognition for their content output are instead directed by adweek.com toward the separate ADWEEK Brand Genius Creators program.
Eligible corporate categories span seven distinct sectors:

- Creative and influencer agencies planning and executing creator-led campaigns.
- Brand-side marketers integrating creators into core marketing strategies.
- Social media platforms developing monetization programs and payout structures.
- Content creation and management software providers.
- Talent management firms representing digital creators.
- Creator monetization platforms facilitating subscriptions, commerce, tipping, and licensing.
- Creator adtech providers specializing in measurement, data analytics, and media buying.
Evaluation Metrics and Submission Deadlines
Judges will prioritize verifiable performance metrics spanning the preceding 12 months rather than broad corporate vision. Submissions must demonstrate measurable business impact through revenue growth, funding rounds, client acquisition, or market share expansion. Additional evaluation criteria include product innovation, measurable audience and earnings outcomes for serviced creators, and industry-wide influence.
Entrants can self-nominate or submit colleagues through the official portal. The entry fee structure is divided into two distinct pricing tiers based on submission timing. The early bird entry period runs through November 6, requiring a fee of $175. Following that window, the standard entry fee increases to $275. The final submission deadline closes on Monday, December 7, 2026, at 11:59 pm PST. Inquiries regarding the submission process are directed to awards@adweek.com.
