Ado and adidas Launch Kira: Official Anime Song for Japan National Team Kit
Ado has been appointed as the creative partner for the Adidas Japan National Team 2026 football kit, a collaboration that includes the production of an official “uniform song” to accompany the new gear.
The “Horizon” Design Concept
The 2026 home kit is developed around the concept of “HORIZON,” which symbolizes a push toward a future not yet seen. This thematic direction is intended to unite players and supporters as the Japan National Team prepares for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The visual identity of the collaboration was created by ORIHARA, the illustrator who serves as Ado’s image director.
Release of Official Uniform Song
As part of the partnership, Ado has produced a track titled “Kira” (綺羅), designated as the official uniform song for the national team. The song is scheduled for release on April 22. The lyrics, composition, and arrangement for the track were provided by Tatsuya Kitani.
Scheduled Stadium Performances
The collaboration coincides with the “Ado STADIUM LIVE 2026” event series. Performances are scheduled for July 4 and July 5, 2026, at the Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, with doors opening at 16:00 and shows starting at 18:00.
Tickets for the stadium events were managed via an advance lottery for paid members of “Ado no Dokidoki Himitsukichi” from November 23 to December 5, 2025, through Lawson Ticket. Pricing for the events was tiered, with VIP tickets priced at ¥30,000, SS seats at ¥20,000, and standard seating options ranging from ¥7,000 to ¥15,000. The performances are subject to the Act on Prohibition of Unauthorized Resale of Tickets, utilizing digital-only ticketing and requiring companion registration.
