Indiana Women’s Basketball Adds Four-Star Forward Addison nyemchek to 2026 class
bloomington, IN – Indiana women’s basketball has received a commitment from Addison Nyemchek, a four-star forward in the class of 2026, announced Sunday afternoon. The addition of Nyemchek significantly boosts the Hoosiers‘ recruiting efforts for the upcoming season, solidifying a promising future for the program.
Nyemchek, a 6-foot-2 prospect from Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey, chose Indiana over offers from Michigan and TCU. Her commitment joins those of Ashlin James and Zoe Jackson, forming a strong foundation for the Hoosiers’ 2026 recruiting class. This early success in recruiting is crucial as head coach Teri Moren aims to maintain Indiana’s competitive edge in the Big Ten.
Last season, Nyemchek averaged 14 points, seven rebounds, 3.3 assists, three steals, and 1.2 blocked shots in 24.2 minutes per game for Red Bank Catholic. She also showcased her skills on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit with Philly Rise.
