ACX Meetups Everywhere: Fall 2026 City List and Guide

Meetups Everywhere 2026 brings readers together across more than 180 cities worldwide for the fall gathering organized through Astral Codex Ten, featuring local events scheduled from late October through November.

Global Fall Schedule Spans Over 180 Cities Worldwide

Twice a year, blog author Scott Alexander and meetup czar Skyler publish times and places for readers to connect in person. The fall 2026 schedule covers locations ranging from Aachen, Germany, to Zagreb, Croatia, with events organized across Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, Central America, South America, and online.

Regional listings are alphabetized by country and city, except in the United States, where they are organized by state and city. Skyler announced provisional plans to attend gatherings in Boston, Burlington, and Oxford, while Scott plans to attend the San Francisco meetup.

Organizers have set specific dates and venues for individual cities. In Tel Aviv, Inbar hosts a meetup on Thursday, November 12, at 6:00 PM at Sarona Park near the veranda area. Shai organizes a gathering in Jerusalem on Monday, November 2, at 5:30 PM at the “Goldmund” bookstore on Ekron Street.

Local Organizers Prepare Signs and Nametags for Attendees

First-time attendees are explicitly invited regardless of their familiarity with the blog or agreement with its content, provided they have not been banned by local or global organizers. RSVPs are requested primarily to help organizers gauge attendance size and communicate last-minute venue changes.

Organizers have shared specific logistical instructions for identifying their groups. In Brisbane, Laura meets attendees at the Fourth Monkey at tables out the back on Tuesday, October 27, at 6:00 PM, and has notified bar staff. In Canberra, Declan gathers at Grease Monkey Braddon on Monday, November 2, at 5:30 PM with an ACX sign.

Perth organizers Bill Dengler and Bianca Peterek host a meetup on Monday, October 26, at 6:00 PM at The Generous Squire. Both organizers are totally blind and request that attendees ask staff for the ACX Everywhere booking under Dengler or look for white canes.

Coordination and Community Growth Drive Twice-Yearly Gatherings

Fall meetups frequently serve as a launching pad for new local chapters when isolated readers discover others living nearby.
