The launch follows a challenging period for MBC, with its currently airing drama, “Mary Kills People” starring Lee Bo-young, achieving a 1% rating. additionally, the production team for “let’s Go to the Moon” recently acknowledged a lack of consideration for cultural sensitivities during development.
“Let’s Go to the Moon” centers on three women in their 30s and 40s who turn to coin investment as a means of financial survival. The series aims to blend relatable characters with a narrative of empathy, offering a unique viewing experience.
The drama features lee Sun-bin as Jeong Da-hae, Lamiran as Kang Eun-sang, and Jo Aram as Kim Ji-song. Released stills showcase the chemistry between the three lead actresses, highlighting their characters’ strong solidarity. The production team emphasized the “perfect teamwork” of the cast, noting their frequent laughter and ad-libs during filming.
According to the production team, the three women build a strong friendship, self-identifying their struggles with work, love, and life as “nausea,” but finding solace and laughter in each other’s company.
