Toast is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Recovery Agent to join our growing team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will be a critical part of ensuring the security and accessibility of our platform for restaurants across the globe. you’ll play a key role in helping our customers regain access to their accounts while upholding the highest standards of security and customer service.
What You’ll do:
As an Account Recovery Agent, you will be responsible for assisting customers with regaining access to their accounts through secure verification processes. This includes:
* Providing exceptional customer support with a customer-first mindset.
* Following structured workflows and making accurate decisions, even under pressure.
* Handling sensitive information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
* Utilizing identity verification tools and navigating security compliance environments.
* Working with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) processes and digital account recovery concepts.
* Leveraging your knowledge of CRMs (such as Salesforce or Zendesk) and authentication platforms (like Okta, duo, or Authy).
* Collaborating effectively with team members and adapting to changing priorities.
What You’ll Bring:
* A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
* 1-3 years of experience in customer support, operations, or security verification roles; experience in a BPO/Shared Services environment is a plus.
* Experience supporting secure platforms within industries like SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or telecom is preferred.
* Familiarity with identity verification tools and security compliance environments.
* A working knowledge of MFA processes and digital account recovery concepts is preferred.
* Proficiency with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) and authentication platforms (e.g., Okta, Duo, Authy).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling sensitive data.
Our Work Environment:
This role operates on a rotational shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to align with U.S. business hours. Initial training and onboarding will be conducted onsite. Toast embraces a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office. For the first 12 months following implementation, the team will be expected to be onsite at least 3 days per week to foster collaboration and support.
