Motorola has unveiled a special edition collection of smartphones – the Razr Fold and Edge 70 Fusion – branded for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the company announced this week.
The Razr Fold FIFA World Cup 26 Edition features a black color scheme and a textured back panel designed to evoke the perceive of a soccer ball, according to Motorola. The design aims to improve grip when the phone is held. A gold-plated FIFA World Cup 26 logo adorns the device, as does Motorola’s signature “batwing” logo, also finished in gold.
The Edge 70 Fusion also receives a FIFA World Cup 26 treatment, sporting a leather-like texture on its back intended to mimic the surface of a soccer ball. Like the Razr Fold, the Edge 70 Fusion features gold-plated Motorola and FIFA World Cup 26 logos, and a gold frame surrounds the camera island.
Beyond the cosmetic changes, the FIFA World Cup 26 Collection devices include exclusive software features. These include custom wallpapers, ringtones, and pre-installation of the new FIFA World Cup application and the FIFA Heroes game.
The Edge 70 Fusion is currently available in select markets, including Spain, priced at €529 and bundled with a pair of Moto Sound Flow earbuds. Pricing for the Razr Fold FIFA World Cup 26 Edition has not yet been announced. Motorola plans to release the collection in select markets in the coming weeks, according to a statement.
