The platform will culminate its month-long celebration with a live broadcast of the Oscar gala.

Among the featured films is Karate Kid: Legends, debuting March 6th. The film unites Ralph Macchio, reprising his role as Daniel LaRusso from the original Karate Kid, with Jackie Chan, who served as a sensei in the 2010 reboot. Ben Wang joins them as a new apprentice, with Joshua Jackson and Ming-na Wen also featured in the cast. The film continues the saga of martial arts and personal growth.

On March 13th, Movistar Plus+ will premiere Materialists, a romantic comedy directed by Celine Song and starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal. The film examines modern love through the lens of a matchmaker who pairs individuals based on financial and physical criteria, and the complications that arise when she confronts her own romantic past.

Also debuting on March 13th is Hind’s Voice, nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Film. The film recounts the true story of a six-year-old girl trapped in a car in the Gaza Strip during a period of conflict, and the emergency call for aid received by Red Crescent volunteers. The film utilizes actual recordings of the girl’s voice, and received a 24-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.

James Gunn’s reboot of Superman arrives on March 20th, starring David Corenswet as the iconic superhero. The film portrays a more vulnerable and compassionate Superman, beginning as he recovers from a defeat in Antarctica with the aid of his dog, Krypto, even as facing a renewed threat from Lex Luthor who intends to reveal secrets about the hero’s past.
