Arknights: Endfield Update 1.1 – New Operators, Forge Limit & More!

Global publisher GRYPHLINE announced today that a major content update for its 3D Industrial RPG, Arknights: Endfield, will be available as a free download for all players starting March 12, 2026. The update, titled “Old Deep Water Dies, by Rising Tide It is Denied,” follows a launch that the company says has exceeded internal projections.

Version 1.1 will introduce several modern operators, an expansion of the AIC system through a new hydro-industrialization system, and gameplay enhancements, according to a press release. Producer Light Zhong stated that player count, playtime, and in-game activity have “greatly exceeded our expectations.”

Two new 6-star operators will be featured in the update: Tangtang, a Cryo Caster specializing in AOE damage and support, and Rossi, a Physical Guard capable of converting Arts Infliction on enemies into Vulnerability. Tangtang’s Ultimate, “DA CHIEF SEES YOU!”, immobilizes all enemies within its range, including bosses, creating opportunities for decisive attacks. Rossi is described as the only operator currently able to convert Arts Infliction into Vulnerability, allowing her to both deal Arts and Physical damage.

The update also includes quality-of-life improvements and optimizations based on community feedback. Players can expect a new ore, Cuprium, and increased build limits for the Forge of the Sky, expanding to a maximum of four. The Stock Redistribution, Depot Nodes, and Environment Monitoring systems for Wuling will also see increased maximum levels.

GRYPHLINE is offering version rewards, including an extra x10 Chartered Headhunting Permit and increased AIC quota for new operator recruitment. New Protocol Pass rewards have also been announced.

Future updates are planned to introduce new gameplay modes, maps, and environments, including two new maps and a new outpost featuring a new type of fluid. The company has not specified a timeline for these additions.
