RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. Reported consolidated revenue of €426.2 million for the first half of 2025, according to a report approved by the company’s Board of Directors on July 31, 2025. This figure represents a decrease from the €434.1 million reported for the same period in 2024.

The company’s half-year report indicated that digital revenue accounted for 24.5% of the total revenue. EBITDA, EBIT, and net profit all increased compared to the first half of 2024, rising to €80.4 million, €54.2 million, and €35 million respectively. These figures compare to €77.7 million, €51.1 million, and €33.9 million for the same period last year.

As of June 30, 2025, RCS MediaGroup reported a positive net financial position of €1.4 million, a shift from the positive €7.8 million recorded at the end of December 2024. This change follows the distribution of approximately €36.2 million in dividends.

The group’s newspaper subscriptions continue to grow, exceeding 1.2 million active digital customers. Corriere della Sera, Italy’s leading newspaper, accounts for 701,000 of these subscriptions, although Gazzetta has 262,000, El Mundo has 170,000, and Expansión has 120,000.

Average monthly unique users in Italy reached 31 million as of the end of May, according to Audicom data. The report acknowledged that the first half of 2025 was significantly impacted by the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, which created a state of overall uncertainty for the global economy and trade. RCS MediaGroup stated it has no direct business exposure to the markets affected by these conflicts or to sanctioned entities.

Concerns regarding potential tariffs and restrictions on international trade imposed by the U.S. Were also cited as contributing to the overall uncertainty, according to the report.
