A car overturned onto its roof in the courtyard of a business in Toulouse, France, on Wednesday, marking the fourth similar incident at the same roundabout in recent months, according to France3 Régions.
The latest crash occurred at the intersection of the Chemin des Sept-Deniers and the Rond-point Frédéric-Lubin-Lebrère, a location that has become a hotspot for accidents. Video footage released by France3 shows a vehicle losing control while approaching the roundabout and flipping onto its roof.
The manager of the impacted company has appealed to authorities to improve safety measures at the location. “It’s the fourth accident of this type recorded at this precise spot,” France3 reported, citing the business owner’s concerns.
The Chemin des Sept-Deniers, a 924-meter-long road in the Sept-Deniers district of Toulouse, is slated to have a new metro station, “Sept Deniers – Stade Toulousain,” constructed nearby, with an expected opening in 2028. The road currently features varying traffic patterns, including a one-way section and speed limits ranging from 20 km/h to 30 km/h in designated zones.
Authorities have not yet responded to the call for increased safety measures.
