Bruno Mars will preview tracks from his upcoming album, The Romantic, during a live radio event on Thursday, February 26th, before the album’s official release on February 27th. The event, titled “Romantic Radio with Bruno Mars: An iHeartRadio Album Preview,” will stream live on the artist’s TikTok, iHeartRadio’s TikTok, and iHeartRadio stations nationwide, beginning at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
This marks Mars’ first full-length album release since 2016’s 24K Magic. The Romantic features nine recent songs, including the recently released single “I Just Might.” During the broadcast, Mars will share previously unheard songs from the new project and act as a “musical advisor” to listeners.
Fans are invited to submit their personal love stories via the Talkback feature on iHeartRadio’s Love Songs Radio, and also through TikTok LIVE during the event. Mars intends to offer personalized song dedications and advice to selected submissions. Submissions are being accepted now through the iHeartRadio app.
The event is a collaboration between iHeartMedia and TikTok. According to a statement released by Mars, “Next week marks the start of a new year… The Year of The Romantic.” The broadcast will also be available on iHeartRadio’s Love Songs Radio and Hit Nation stations.
Mars, a 16-time Grammy winner, recently became the first artist to surpass 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify. A music video for the first song from the album, “Risk It All,” is scheduled for release following the radio preview, according to an Instagram post from February 26th.
