Samsung Galaxy S26: Best Cases for the New Phone – Belkin, UAG & More

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 line debuted Wednesday at Samsung Unpacked, with preorders beginning immediately for an official release on March 11. While the S26 series presents incremental changes from previous generations, a new “Privacy Display” feature and a redesigned camera bump are among the key updates. The launch has already spurred a wave of new phone case offerings from Samsung and a variety of third-party manufacturers.

Samsung is offering a range of cases designed for the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, including a clear magnetic case, an ultra slim case, a silicone magnetic case, and a rugged case. According to Samsung’s website, these cases are slated to ship before the phones themselves, with an expected arrival date of March 6.

Belkin has likewise entered the market with two new case series: the SheerForce Clear series, designed to resist yellowing, and the SheerForce Protect series, available in black, lavender, and navy.

ESR is offering a clear case for all S26 models, boasting military-grade drop protection and magnetic charging compatibility. The case also features a built-in phone stand for hands-free viewing.

Beyond protection, several companies are emphasizing style. Burga is offering a variety of cases with trendy prints, and is currently running a promotion of buy four, pay for two. Snakehive is offering leather cases in four colors – rich tan, jet black, hunter green, and oxford blue – that are also MagSafe compatible.

For those prioritizing minimalist design, CaseBorne’s Thinborne cases, constructed from aerospace-grade aramid fiber, are available and scheduled to arrive by March 2, nine days before the S26 release. Exoticase offers a matte, transparent case with accent color options, while Spidercase provides a shockproof, transparent case with a built-in stand and MagSafe compatibility, also shipping March 2.

Pitaka is also offering aramid fiber cases in black and moonrise, featuring a raised camera edge and MagSafe compatibility. UAG, or Urban Armor Gear, has launched a collection including basic clear options, dotted patterns, and rugged models for more demanding use.

Recent recalls of ESR power banks due to fire risk, reported by PCMag, do not appear to extend to the newly released phone cases. However, consumers should remain vigilant regarding product safety and adhere to manufacturer guidelines.

The emergence of Qi2 wireless charging, as reported by The Verge, is also relevant to case compatibility, with many of the new cases offering MagSafe compatibility for wireless charging.
