Samsung today unveiled the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4, the latest iterations of its premium wireless earbuds, promising enhanced audio fidelity and a more comfortable fit. The new series builds on Samsung’s advancements in audio technology, featuring larger woofers, improved active noise cancellation (ANC), and an adaptive equalizer designed to deliver a more immersive listening experience.
According to Gerben van Walt Meijer, Marketing Manager, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics Benelux, Samsung recognizes that a premium audio experience requires a combination of technical sound quality and comfort. “With the Galaxy Buds4 series, our design philosophy centers around maximizing performance and long-lasting comfort, without compromising audio performance, as that’s what consumers value most,” he stated.
The Galaxy Buds4 series incorporates a redesigned aesthetic based on feedback from millions of ear scans and over 10,000 simulations, according to Samsung. The earbuds feature a smaller, more ergonomic design intended to provide a secure and comfortable fit for extended wear. A metal finish and engraved touch controls are included for easy adjustment of settings. The charging case has a new transparent clamshell design.
The Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Buds4 offer different architectural designs to cater to varying user needs. The Buds4 Pro utilize an in-ear fit designed for optimal sound quality and functionality, while the Buds4 feature an open design for a more comfortable and accessible audio experience. Both models are available in White and Black with a matte finish, with the Buds4 Pro also offered in Pink Gold (online and in Samsung Experience Stores).
A key upgrade in the Buds4 Pro is a wider woofer, increasing the effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared to the previous generation without increasing the overall size of the earbuds. This, combined with a tweeter, aims to deliver a fuller sound with clearer bass and richer highs, supporting 24-bit/96kHz audio. The placement of the external microphone on the metal finish is intended to maximize ANC performance while minimizing wind and other external noise interference.
Software enhancements include improved ANC capable of filtering out a wider range of ambient noises, from traffic to background chatter. The adaptive ANC and EQ dynamically adjust to the user’s ear shape and listening environment, optimizing noise cancellation and sound quality. Super Clear Call technology utilizes a super wideband conversation feature for clearer voice calls, even in noisy environments.
For Samsung Galaxy users, the Buds4 series offers enhanced integration with AI assistants, including Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity, allowing for hands-free control. AI features on the Buds4 Pro are accessible without needing to utilize a smartphone. The earbuds also offer seamless pairing with Galaxy devices and quick access to volume and EQ controls through a quick panel.
The Galaxy Buds4 series is available for pre-order today and will be generally available starting March 6th in the Benelux region. The Galaxy Buds4 are priced at €179, while the Galaxy Buds4 Pro will retail for €249. A 10% discount is offered when purchased with a Galaxy S26 series device.
The Galaxy Buds4 Pro features a battery life of up to 6 hours of playtime with ANC enabled, and up to 26 hours with the charging case. The Galaxy Buds4 offer up to 7 hours of playtime with ANC off, and up to 30 hours with the charging case. Both models are IP54 (Buds4) and IP57 (Buds4 Pro) water resistant.
