MedInTechs 2026 & Health Innovation: Key Insights & Speakers

The MedInTechs Congress, focused on innovation at the intersection of health, science and technology, will be held March 9-10, 2026, at the Parc Floral de Paris, organizers announced February 18, 2026. The congress, chaired by Professor Marc-Olivier Gauci, a fellow at the 3IA Côte d’Azur interdisciplinary institute, will dedicate four half-days to Women’s Health, Fighting Obesity, Aging Well, and Surgical Innovation.

Professor Sofiane Bendifallah will serve as Scientific Director for the Women’s Health theme. The Fighting Obesity track will be led by Doctor Marie-Cécile Blanchet, Professor Karine Clément, and Professor Maud Robert. Professor Olivier Guerin will direct the Aging Well program, although Professor Gauci will oversee Surgical Innovation.

Professor Gauci is also a surgeon at the CHU de Nice (Nice University Hospital), Director of the ICARE Unit at Inserm U1091, and Director of the PACA Mediterranean Health Data Warehouse. He also directs the FHU/RHU ReBone, according to information published by medintechs.com.

The congress program follows a panel discussion featuring Diana Sebbar of WAICF 2026, titled “AI Transformation: First Steps in Public Administration.” the IHU RespirERA will host a meeting in Nice to discuss challenges for respiratory health, with an interview featuring Professor Gauci by François Sorel of BFM Business.

Dr. Gauci specializes in shoulder, elbow, and wrist surgery and is President of CAOS France. He holds a doctorate in science focused on computer-assisted shoulder prosthesis surgery and artificial intelligence in orthopedic surgery. He also received the University Côte d’Azur prize and an award from the National Academy of Surgery for his operate on patient-specific, computer-assisted shoulder surgery.
