ORLANDO, FL – A brutal rematch has been set for WWE NXT Vengeance Day, as Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan will clash in an Underground match on March 7th at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The escalation to an Underground match follows weeks of animosity between the two competitors, culminating in a physical altercation on the February 24th episode of NXT. Jordan recently targeted Vice’s injured hand during their February 17th match, securing a submission victory. The targeting of the injury prompted Vice to demand another opportunity at Jordan, specifically requesting the more chaotic and unregulated environment of an Underground match.
During Tuesday’s NXT broadcast, the feud boiled over into a locker room brawl, according to reports. Vice then directly appealed to Interim General Manager Robert Stone, successfully lobbying for the Underground match to be made official for Vengeance Day.
This upcoming bout will be the fifth singles match between Vice and Jordan, with the current record standing at 2-2. Vice has previously competed in three Underground matches, emerging victorious against Natalya, Shayna Baszler, and Jaida Parker throughout 2024, establishing herself as a dominant force in that match type.
The Vengeance Day event will also feature championship matches. Joe Hendry will defend the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints, and Izzi Dame will defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Tatum Paxley.
