Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine: Slim Pickins W33D2 Hints & Rules

Ariana Grande’s seventh studio album, eternal sunshine, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, marking the singer’s sixth time achieving that position, according to reports released March 15, 2024. The album, released by Republic Records on March 8, 2024, features 35 minutes and 26 seconds of music and has been described as a pop and R&B record with influences from dance, synth-pop and house music.

The album’s creation spanned from September to December 2023, with recording sessions taking place across multiple studios including Jungle City in New York City, MXM and House Mouse in Stockholm, Studio 112 in Jonstorp, and Decoy in Suffolk. Grande collaborated with a team of producers including Max Martin, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Aaron Paris, Shintaro Yasuda, Nick Lee, Will Loftis, Luka Kloser, and Oscar Görres.

eternal sunshine follows Grande’s previous studio album, Positions (2020), and precedes the soundtrack to the upcoming film adaptation of the musical Wicked, scheduled for release later in 2024. The album’s title is derived from the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Grande has stated that the album explores themes of vulnerability and personal experience.

Prior to the album’s release, three singles were released: “Yes, And?” on January 12, 2024, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100. “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” coinciding with the album’s release on March 8, 2024; and “The Boy Is Mine” on June 7, 2024. The album and its singles received three Grammy nominations, including Best Pop Vocal Album.

Ticketmaster announced in October 2023 that a portion of tickets for Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine Tour” were cancelled due to violations of ticket purchase terms, with efforts underway to reissue those tickets directly to fans. A request window for remaining tickets opened and subsequently closed, prioritizing fans whose original purchases were cancelled and then randomizing fulfillment based on availability and seating preferences. The tour consists of 31 shows, with age restrictions potentially varying by venue.
