by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Cabaretier Stefan Hendrikx will perform his new show, “In perspectief” (In Perspective), at De Meerpaal theater in Dronten on Friday, February 27th, at 8:30 PM. The performance is a endeavor-out ahead of the official premiere scheduled for March 6th, 2026.

Hendrikx rose to prominence after winning the 2022 Leids Cabaret Festival, a prestigious competition for emerging comedic talent in the Netherlands. His debut performance, “Who’s the man,” garnered critical acclaim, receiving four-star reviews from both the Volkskrant and the NRC newspapers. He was also nominated for the Neerlands Hoop award, recognizing the most promising cabaret artist of the year.

“In perspectief” promises an evening of humor, live music, and relatable characters, according to promotional materials. Hendrikx intends to challenge audiences to consider different viewpoints, prompting them to step outside their own perspectives and see the world through his eyes. The show will feature a blend of recognizable personas, expressive miming, and a rapid-fire delivery of jokes.

The performance at De Meerpaal is one of several try-out shows scheduled throughout February 2026. Hendrikx will also perform the show at Schouwburg Agnietenhof in Tiel on February 26th and Weijer Theater in Boxmeer on February 28th. Tickets for the Dronten performance are available through the De Meerpaal website.

Bos Theaterproducties is producing “In perspectief,” and the show’s creative team includes director Anouk Beugels and technician Wout Jansen. Photographer Doron Tempert and graphic designer Simon Boer also contributed to the production.
