Hot 10 Comics: Feb 20, 2026 – Top Trending Issues & Sales

A new comic book, White Sky #1 from Image Comics, is rapidly gaining popularity with collectors, selling for upwards of $50 on release day, mirroring the recent success of D’Orc, according to reports from comic book news site Bleeding Cool.

The first issue, written by William Harms with art by Jean-Paul Mavinga and Lee Loughridge, has seen standard covers sell for as high as $55, while the 1:25 variant cover reached $200, Bleeding Cool reported Wednesday. The surge in price is attributed to limited variant covers and quick sell-outs from distributors.

Harms, a veteran video game narrative director known for his work on Mafia III, pitched White Sky as a title for fans of post-apocalyptic stories like The Last of Us. The comic’s launch is part of Image Comics’ February 2026 solicitations, according to Bleeding Cool.

The rapid success of White Sky #1 follows a similar trajectory to D’Orc #1, which debuted two weeks prior and has dominated collector interest. While D’Orc has seen even higher resale values – with standard covers now selling for $130, ashcan previews for $500, and the 1:50 variant for $500 – White Sky is experiencing a comparable level of demand despite having fewer variant covers available.

Other titles are also seeing activity on the secondary market. Mad Cave Studios’ new release, another independent comic, has sold over 115 copies with an average price of $19, reaching a high of $60. Vertigo’s 3 Bleeding Hearts #1, while down slightly from its peak, continues to maintain a strong position with an average sale price of $16. D’Orc #1 remains a strong seller, with an average price of $82 and a high of $130.

A 1:25 variant of White Sky #1 is also proving to be a highly sought-after item, with an average sale price of $151 and a high of $250 after only two days on the market. Spider-Man Noir #1, after a delayed market response to its trailer, has seen a surge in sales, with graded and raw copies averaging $436, and some raw copies reaching $550.

Several other titles, including DC K.O.: Knightfight #3, Mega Man X #1 1:5, Death to Pachuco #5, and Exquisite Corpses #10 Thank You, are also experiencing increased sales and collector interest. A CGC 9.8 copy of Wonder Woman #28 Steampunk Variant sold for $2,300, approaching its all-time high, while a CGC 9.8 of Amazing Spider-Man #607 Newsstand sold for a record $2,800. A 1:100 variant of G.I. Joe #19 sold for an average of $163, with individual copies reaching $200.

Rumors surrounding the potential appearance of Power Girl in the upcoming Supergirl movie have also driven sales of All-Star Comics #58, with high-grade raw copies fetching up to $190. Similarly, anticipation for a Spider-Punk adaptation has maintained interest in Amazing Spider-Man #10, with raw copies averaging between $30 and $50 and CGC 9.8 copies selling for $200.
