Bad Bunny WWE Return: Tag Team Match with Logan Paul Possible?

Following his halftime performance at Super Bowl LX, entertainer Bad Bunny is reportedly in discussions for a return to WWE, potentially as soon as this spring. The possibility of a match involving Bad Bunny and Logan Paul has gained traction in recent days, fueled by comments from both personalities and reports from wrestling news outlets.

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that WWE is considering a tag team match featuring Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, though a singles match, particularly at WrestleMania 42 in April, appears less likely. Alvarez also noted that a recent social media post from U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego urging All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to sign Bad Bunny may accelerate his return to WWE.

Logan Paul himself acknowledged the possibility of a match with Bad Bunny on Wednesday, stating that the idea “has been floated around.” A week prior, Paul described a potential match as “the biggest” of all time, according to reports. WWE had reportedly been in contact with Bad Bunny’s representatives prior to the Super Bowl to explore his interest in wrestling or appearing at major events, including WrestleMania, according to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select.

Bad Bunny has previously wrestled for WWE on three occasions. He debuted at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, teaming with Damian Priest. He then participated in the 2022 Royal Rumble match and faced Priest in a street fight at Backlash in 2023, an event held in his native Puerto Rico.

The potential for a WWE return comes amidst political discussion surrounding Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may be hesitant to bring Bad Bunny back due to public criticism from former U.S. President Donald Trump and a counter-event organized by the conservative group Turning Point USA featuring Kid Rock. The report suggests WWE may avoid actions perceived as provoking Trump, despite the likelihood that its audience would not object to Bad Bunny’s involvement.
