Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series, slated for unveiling at an “Unpacked” event on February 25th, is projected to carry a higher price tag than the Galaxy S25 series, according to reports. The anticipated increase is attributed to significantly rising component costs, particularly in the memory sector.

The Galaxy S26 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. Depending on the market, the device will be powered by either the Exynos 2600 or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. It will include a 4,300 mAh battery supporting 25W charging and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera (f/2.2, 26mm, 1/3.2″, 1.12μm). The rear camera setup will consist of a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/1.8, 24mm, 1/1.56″, 1.0μm, OIS), a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens (f/2.4, 67mm, 1/3.94″, 1.0μm, PDAF, OIS) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 13mm, 120 ̊, 1/2.55″ 1.4μm). The phone is expected to weigh 167 grams and measure 149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2mm.

The Galaxy S26 Plus will sport a larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. Like the standard S26, it will offer either the Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It will be equipped with a 4,900 mAh battery supporting 45W charging and a 12-megapixel front camera (f/2.2, 13mm, 120 ̊, 1/2.55″, 1.4μm). The rear camera array will mirror the S26, featuring a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/1.8, 24mm, 1/1.56″, 1.0μm, dual pixel PDAF, OIS), a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens (f/2.4, 67mm, 1/3.94″, 1.0μm, PDAF, OIS), and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 13mm, 120 ̊, 1/2.55″ 1.4μm). The S26 Plus is expected to weigh 190 grams and measure 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm.

The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. Notably, the S26 Ultra is expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor across all markets. It will offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The device will house a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 60W charging and a 12-megapixel front camera (f/2.2, 26mm, 1/3.2″, 1.12μm). The rear camera system will be headlined by a 200-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/1.4, 24mm, 1/1.3″, 0.6μm, PDAF, OIS), accompanied by a 50-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto lens (f/2.8, 111mm, 1/2.52″, 0.7μm, PDAF, OIS), a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens (1/3.94″, PDAF, OIS), and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (f/1.9, 120°, 1/2.5″, 0.7μm, Dual-Pixel PDAF). The S26 Ultra is expected to weigh 214 grams and measure 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm, and will include an integrated S Pen.

Preliminary pricing estimates suggest a starting price of 999 euros for the Galaxy S26, 1,269 euros for the Galaxy S26 Plus, and 1,469 euros for the Galaxy S26 Ultra in European markets.

Recent reports indicate Samsung may maintain 12MP selfie cameras across the S26 series, a continuation of the hardware used since the Galaxy S23. This decision comes as Apple introduces a new square selfie sensor design with the iPhone 17, potentially increasing pressure on Samsung to innovate in this area.
