A surprise gathering of Hollywood stars descended upon Studio Seaview in Manhattan Friday night to support Sean Hayes during a performance of his new off-Broadway play, “The Unknown.” Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Bradley Cooper, and Gigi Hadid were among those in attendance, according to reports.

Hayes, known for his role as Jack McFarland in the television series “Will & Grace,” is starring in the one-man psychological thriller, which began performances on January 31st. The play follows Elliott, an author seeking solitude in a remote cabin to overcome creative stagnation. Hayes described the production as a “tantalizing, seductive chase of cat and mouse” in a recent appearance on “Good Morning America.”

Hayes shared photos of the unexpected visit on Instagram, expressing his gratitude for the support. He posted a group photo with Aniston, Bateman, Arnett, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, writing, “This fun bunch caught me off-guard with their surprise visit to the play tonight. Jen, Jim & crew…you all warmed my heart. Thank you for coming.” He also shared a separate image with Bateman and Arnett, his co-hosts on the “SmartLess” podcast, thanking them for their attendance.

Aniston was accompanied to the performance by her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, and the group greeted Hayes backstage following the show. The play is scheduled to run through April 12th at Studio Seaview.

Cooper’s appearance coincided with the period surrounding his birthday, though details of any specific celebrations were not disclosed. His career has spanned a range of roles, from comedic performances to Oscar-nominated dramatic work and directing ventures.
